Deleting temp files

If you choose to back up the destination environment, you might see an error message saying "Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation." This indicates that the tool is unable to create TMP files on the server.

When backing up the destination site, the Configuration Transfer tool creates TMP files in the C:\Windows\Temp directory on the server. This directory has a limit of 65,535 files, so if you exceed that limit you must delete some of the existing TMP files.
