Editing a URL report

A URL report is any report that is addressed by a URL. Note that SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports are also addressed by a URL, but those are treated as a separate report type in Infor Public Sector. The URL report type is used for URL reports other than SSRS.

  1. Select System > Agency Personalization > Reports Manager.
  2. In the Reports tree, browse to the report that you want to edit.
  3. Click the "Report" node.
  4. In the Display Text field, type the name that is displayed for this report when the Reports button is clicked.
  5. Select URL from the Report Type list.
  6. Under Report Location, enter the location of the report.
The report location is the URL that will be opened when a user selects the report. If you select the Use Default URL check box, Infor Public Sector uses the URL you entered in the Default URL for URL reports field under Global Report Settings. You can also clear the Use Default URL check box and enter a different location in the URL field.

To enter a URL, you can select Enter URL and type in a URL, or you can select Select PreConfigured URL and choose the URL from a drop-down list. The list shows all URLs that have been specified for existing reports in the Reports Manager.

  7. Add parameters to the report as required.
  8. Enter any other information about the report.
    • If you select Set as Default Print for this Page, Infor Public Sector will print the report when you click the Print button on the selected page.
    • Select Use for Lookups Only to create a report based on multiple records that you select in a lookup grid.

      See Adding reports to lookups.

    • You can use the Access ID field to specify the ID for the permission in Access Control that users will require to view the report.
    • You can use the Formula field to specify a formula that calculates whether the report is added to the page.
    • You can use the Required Component field to specify a business object property that must be populated for the report to be available. For example, if you are editing a work order report, you might enter WorkOrder.CompletedDateTime to indicate that a work order must have a completion date for the report to be available.
  9. Click Save.
