Adding contact notifications
You can use the Notifications tab of the Contact InfoViewer to specify the notifications that a contact would like to receive. For example, customers might want to receive email notifications when the status of an inspection changes. To set up a notification for a contact, specify the notification type, the notification method, and either a mobile number or an email address where notifications will be sent.
- Open the correct contact in the Contact InfoViewer.
- Select the Notifications tab.
- Click above the grid.
- In the Notification Type field, specify the code for the type of notification the contact would like to receive.
- In the Notification Method field, specify the code for the notification method, such as text or email.
- If the customer wants to receive text alerts, specify the phone number in the Reference # field.
- If the customer wants to receive email alerts, specify the email address in the Details field.
