Adding contact notifications

You can use the Notifications tab of the Contact InfoViewer to specify the notifications that a contact would like to receive. For example, customers might want to receive email notifications when the status of an inspection changes. To set up a notification for a contact, specify the notification type, the notification method, and either a mobile number or an email address where notifications will be sent.

  1. Open the correct contact in the Contact InfoViewer.
  2. Select the Notifications tab.
  3. Click Add above the Notifications grid.
  4. In the Notification Type field, specify the code for the type of notification the contact would like to receive.
  5. In the Notification Method field, specify the code for the notification method, such as text or email.
  6. If the customer wants to receive text alerts, specify the phone number in the Reference # field.
  7. If the customer wants to receive email alerts, specify the email address in the Details field.
  8. Click Save.
