Recording contact DBA names

A DBA name is an alternate name that is used by a contact, typically a business of some kind.

  1. Open the correct contact record.
  2. Select the Also Known As tab in the Contact InfoViewer.
  3. Click Add above the Doing Business As grid.
  4. Specify the contact's DBA name in the DBA Name field.
  5. Specify the effective date of the DBA name in the Effective Date field.
  6. Select Yes or No from the Is Primary list to indicate whether this is the primary DBA name for the contact.
  7. Click Save.
