Resource pools

A resource pool is a collection of employees, equipment units, or vehicles that can be scheduled for work orders, group projects, service requests, and asset inspections.

You can assign individual resources from your resource pools for use in service requests, work orders, and group projects. You can create resource pools for each of these resource types: employees, plant equipment, fleet equipment, and vehicles. For example, you can have an employee resource pool called Meter Readers. When a service request is created for a meter reading, you can assign an employee from that resource pool to perform the reading. When scheduling work, Infor Public Sector shows all available resources that match your search criteria. After you’ve scheduled a resource, that resource is unavailable for other work during the scheduled hours.
