Agency contractors

The Agency Contractor check box in the Contact InfoViewer indicates whether a contact works for the agency as a contractor.

This information is used when you record contractor costs for work orders, service requests, and asset inspections, and when you add contractor line item rates for service contracts. A contractor in Infor Public Sector is a special type of contact, so the Agency Contractor check box indicates which contacts are eligible to serve as contractors.

For example, when you record a contractor cost for a work order, you must specify the contractor's contact ID in the Contractor ID field. The popup for this field shows a list of contacts where the Agency Contractor check box is selected (in the database, RESOURCES.CNTCTID.ISCONTRACTOR = Y). Infor Public Sector will only accept one of these contacts in the Contractor ID field.

Note: You cannot clear the Agency Contractor check box after it's selected.
