Viewing inspections for a plan group
An inspection is an on-site evaluation of an asset, such as a pavement condition inspection or a brake inspection.
The group’s inspection types reflect the sum of inspection types from all associated plans. So, for example, if a group has two plans, one with a pavement condition inspection for 100 planned units and another with the same pavement condition inspection with 50 planned units, the pavement condition inspection type will show 150 planned units. You can click the Planned Units link for an inspection type to see the units of work planned to be performed during the resource plan and the units of work required. These units are the amount of work expected to be produced during the resource plan based on the inspection, such as the number of cars inspected for service repairs. The unit of work is based on the unit of work defined for the inspection type. Infor Public Sector also shows the planned costs and actual costs for the inspection types. The planned costs are based on the estimated resource usage costs for the inspection types. The actual costs are based on the resource costs recorded for inspections linked to the resource plan.
