Viewing activities for a plan group
An activity is the type of maintenance or repair work to be performed on an asset, such as tuning up a vehicle, installing a water meter, or laying down asphalt.
The group’s activities reflect the sum of activities from all associated plans. For example, if a group has two plans, one with a Pave activity for 100 planned units and another with a Pave activity with 50 planned units, the Pave activity will show 150 planned units. You can click the Planned Units link for an activity to see the units of work planned to be performed during the resource plan and the units of work required. These units are the amount of work expected to be produced based on the activity, such as the length of a water main that will be installed or the amount of oil required to change the oil in a vehicle. The unit of measure is based on the unit of measure for the activity’s average daily production. Infor Public Sector also shows the planned costs and actual costs for the activities. The planned costs are based on the estimated resource usage costs for the activities. The actual costs are based on the resource costs recorded for work orders linked to the resource plan.
