Adding resources based on activities or inspections

After you’ve specified the activities or inspection types that must be performed for your plan, you can direct Infor Public Sector to add the resources defined in those activities and inspection types directly to the plan. Infor Public Sector uses the resource usage definitions of the activities and inspections to add the resource types and the number of resources required to perform the activities or inspections. After adding the resources, you can specify the number of resources available for the plan.

  1. Load the plan you want into the Resource Plan InfoViewer.
    You access the Resource Plan InfoViewer by clicking the Plan link for the resource plan on any form that shows the link.
  2. Click Action and select Add Resources Based on Activities and Inspections.
    Infor Public Sector adds the resource types based on the resources defined for the activities and inspections and shows the resources and the number required for the plan on the Resources tab. The number of resources required is based on the resource usage definitions for the activities and inspections.
