Specifying resource quantities per month

After adding resource types to your plan, you can specify the number of resources of each type that are available, such as 1000 hours of electrician labor time over the duration of the plan. You can specify the resource quantities in one of two ways. You can specify the resource quantities for the entire length of the plan, or you can specify the number of resources available for each month of the plan.

  1. Load the plan you want into the Resource Plan InfoViewer.
    You access the Resource Plan InfoViewer by clicking the Plan link for the resource plan on any form that shows the link.
  2. On the Resources tab, click the Available link for the resource that you want to specify the number of available units for.
  3. Enable editing in the grid and select the month for which the resources will be available.
  4. Type the number of available resources in the Available field.
  5. Click Save.
    Infor Public Sector updates the number of available resources for the month and updates the number of resources available for the entire length of the plan in the Available field.
  6. When you’re finished specifying the number of available units for individual months, click Close.
    Infor Public Sector updates the number of resources available for the entire length of the plan in the resource’s Available field on the Resources tab.
