Roadway InfoViewer preferences

The Roadway Viewer Preferences dialog box is used to set display preferences for the Roadway InfoViewer. This dialog box is displayed when you click Settings in the Roadway InfoViewer toolbar. Roadway preferences are stored per user, so your changes will not affect other users.

The elements at the top of the dialog box define basic display settings.

  • The From and To fields define the portion of the roadway that is displayed in the InfoViewer. When first loaded, the InfoViewer shows the entire length of the roadway. To change the display length, specify the starting and ending measurements and select the correct of measure. In addition to feet, meters, yards, miles, and kilometers, you can use distance markers for your units of measure.
    Note: Infor Public Sector does not save this information. The next time you open the roadway in the InfoViewer, its entire length will be displayed.
  • You can use the Right of Way Position field to limit the features displayed in the InfoViewer to those located at a particular right of way position.
  • The Magnification Level list is used to change the magnification level for the roadway.
  • The Top Rule Units and Bottom Ruler Units lists are used to set the units of measure for the rulers above and below the roadway diagram.
  • You can specify a date in the View Date field to view historic roadway information.
  • The Show Roadway Map and Show Roadway Schematic check boxes can be used to hide or show the GIS viewer and the schematic in the Roadway InfoViewer.
