Creating a work order for a roadway
When working with a roadway in the viewer, you can create a work order for all or part of that roadway, such as a work order to fill a pothole or repave a certain section. There are three ways to create a work order in the Roadway InfoViewer:
- You can click the button and select Create Work Order. Infor Public Sector opens the Create Work Order form, where you can enter the work order information. After you create the work order, load the roadway into the Roadway InfoViewer again to see the work order on the feature diagram.
- To create a work order from
the feature list, first ensure that the correct work order activity is displayed in
the list. If it does not, follow the instructions under Viewing work orders in
the Roadway InfoViewer to add the correct activity. Then right-click anywhere
to the right of the activity symbol
and select
Add a new item of this type.
- You can also create a work order from the ruler. To create a work order for the entire length of the roadway, click the ruler and select Create Work Order. You can also select a particular roadway segment in the ruler to create a work order for just that segment.
You can also use the Roadway InfoViewer to create work orders for any
assets or elements attached to a roadway. Right-click the point symbol
or range bar that represents the
asset or element in the feature diagram and select
Create Work Order.
