Transferring a meter position

After you've created a route and added meter positions to it, you can transfer positions from the route to another one. For example, you can transfer positions when a route becomes too large for one field worker to complete.

  1. Select Asset Management > Assets > Water.
  2. On the Meter tab, under Meter Management, click Meter Reading Cycles and Routes.
  3. In the Water Meter Reading Cycles tree, select the correct route.
  4. In the Meter Positions grid, select the positions that you want to transfer.
  5. Click Transfer Meter Positions to Another Route.
  6. In the Route ID field, specify the identification code for the route you're transferring the positions to.
  7. Click OK.
    Infor Public Sector moves the meter positions from the current route to the target route. The transferred positions are removed from the Meter Positions grid and the index numbers for the remaining positions are adjusted to remove any gaps in order. Depending on your system setup, the route’s sequence numbers may also be reset.
