Reordering positions in a meter reading route

The order in which a route is read is typically determined by the location of its meters. For example, meters might be read from the north to the south end of one side of a street and then from the south to the north end of the opposite side of the street. You can easily rearrange the positions in a route so that its meters are read in the most efficient order.

Select Asset Management > Assets > Water.
On the Meter tab, under Meter Management, click Meter Reading Cycles and Routes.
In the Water Meter Reading Cycles tree, select the route you are reordering.
In the Meter Positions grid, reorder the positions.

Note: If you have not set up Infor Public Sector to update sequence numbers automatically, rearranging a group of positions will cause their sequence numbers to be out of order.
