Automatic requisitions
In addition to creating requisitions manually, you can configure Infor Public Sector to create requisitions automatically based on your stock information records.
To create automatic requisitions, you must first ensure that each requesting stock area has an administrator. The stock area administrator becomes the requester on the automatic requisitions.
Then, while editing a stock information record, select the Allow Purchase Requests and Automatic Requisition check boxes. In the Reorder Level field, specify the stock quantity below which a requisition is created. The stock quantity is the number of parts on hand plus the number of parts that have been ordered but not yet been received. For example, if the reorder level is 4, and there are no parts on order, then a requisition will be created if a transaction brings the quantity on hand below 4.
Finally, specify the number of parts to request in the Reorder Quantity field. Infor Public Sector will create a requisition with a purchase request line item for this quantity of the selected part.
