Average cost adjustment transactions

Infor Public Sector can be configured to calculate a part's cost as an average of the part's receiving cost throughout a stock area or in a stock location. Receiving costs include shipping, tax, and other costs in addition to the cost of the part itself. If you need to adjust the average cost for a part to correct for miscalculations or incorrect data, you can create an average cost adjustment transaction.

After you've created an average cost adjustment transaction, you can view it in the Transaction InfoViewer or create another cost adjustment transaction. You can also look up and view other average cost adjustment transactions.

The only change you can make to a completed transaction record is to update its budget numbers and comments.
