Disassemble transactions
A kit in Infor Public Sector is a part that is made up of other parts, such as a vehicle tune-up kit. When you take apart a kit and return its individual parts to your inventory, you must create a disassemble transaction to record the movement of the individual parts. Assemble transactions are used to adjust the number of parts in your inventory. To create a disassemble transaction, specify the kit you want to disassemble, the stock location where the kit is stored, the number of kits to disassemble, and the employee disassembling the kit. After the disassemble transaction is created, you can view it in the Transaction InfoViewer or create another disassemble transaction. You can also look up and view other disassemble transactions.
The only change you can make to a completed transaction record is to update its budget numbers and comments. To correct the on hand quantity of the part involved in the transaction, create an adjustment transaction.
