Specifying a part's manufacturer

You can use the Vendor Catalog InfoViewer to specify the manufacturers of the parts sold by your vendors. You can then cross-reference a vendor's part number with a different number used by the manufacturer for the same part.

  1. Load the vendor part you want into the Vendor Catalog InfoViewer.
  2. On the Manufacturer tab, click Add above the grid.
    Infor Public Sector searches your manufacturer catalog and shows a list of manufacturer part numbers for the same part.
  3. Select the correct manufacturer part record and click Select.
    Infor Public Sector closes the lookup and shows the manufacturer part record in the grid.
