Editing serial and lot numbers

If parts in a stock area are tracked with serial or lot numbers, use this procedure to update those numbers.
  1. Load the stock area you want into the Stock Area InfoViewer.
  2. On the Locations tab, open the stock information record for the parts you want to update.
    For parts that are stocked without locations, click the Edit button to the left of the correct part in the Parts Stocked Without Locations grid. For parts with locations, click the Edit button for the correct location in the Locations in this Stock Area grid. If the stock area only allows a single part per location, Infor Public Sector opens the Stock Information dialog box. If the stock area allows multiple parts per location, you must first select the part that you want to edit.
  3. Click the Serial and Lot Numbers link to the right of the part description field at the top of the Stock Information form.
    The link is only displayed if the selected part is tracked by serial or lot number.
  4. Edit the numbers in the Serial and Lot Numbers grid.
