Editing part serial and lot numbers

If a particular part is tracked with serial or lot numbers, you can use the Part InfoViewer to update those numbers.
  1. Load the part you want into the Part InfoViewer.
  2. Select the Stock tab.
  3. In the Storage Information grid, click the Edit button to the left of the stock information record you want to edit.
  4. Click the Serial and Lot Numbers link to the right of the Location field at the top of the Stock Information form
    The link is only displayed if the selected part is tracked by serial or lot number.
  5. Edit the numbers in the Serial and Lot Numbers grid.
