Creating an incident category

If you have a large number of incident types, you can create categories to keep them organized. You can also nest incident categories inside other categories.

  1. Select Incident > Incident Types.
  2. Right-click the root node of the Incident Types tree, or an existing category node, and select Create Category.
  3. Type a name for the category in the Category Name field.
  4. Click Save.
