Map Drawer for Submit Service Request

Options

You can use the Map Drawer button in Submit Service Request to set the location of a service request, and to show the locations of related records.

This table describes each option that is available from the Map Drawer button in Submit Service Request.

Option	Description
Set Service Request Location	Sets the location of a new service request. To select an address, asset, parcel, or property from the map, you must first activate the associated map feature. For example, to select an address you would activate the address, then right-click the address marker and select Set Address. Infor Public Sector enters the selected address in the address fields in Submit Service Request. You can also right-click any point in the map and select Set Point Location to set the X and Y coordinates for the service request. Infor Public Sector copies the coordinates to the GPS X and GPS Y fields.
Show Address	Shows the location of the address that you enter when creating a service request.
Show Asset	Shows the location of the asset that you enter when creating a service request.
Show Parcel	Shows the location of the parcel that you enter when creating a service request.
Show Property	Shows the location of the property that you enter when creating a service request.
Nearby Service Requests	Shows the locations of all service requests within one mile of the current request's address.
Nearby Open Work Orders	Shows the locations of all open work orders within one mile of the current request's address.

Commands

This table describes each command that is available in the Map Drawer for Submit Service Request. Action commands are invoked from the Action button. Context commands are invoked by right-clicking on a map marker. Point commands are invoked by right-clicking on a point in the map.

Command	Description
Create Work Order (context)	Creates a work order for the selected asset.
Set Point Location (point)	Copies the X and Y coordinates of the selected point location to the service request record.
Set Address (context)	Copies the selected address to the service request record.
Set Asset (context)	Copies the selected asset to the service request record.
Set Parcel (context)	Copies the selected parcel to the service request record.
Set Property (context)	Copies the selected property to the service request record.
