Resolving service requests
Note: If you resolve a service
request that has other requests linked to it as children, Infor Public Sector also resolves the child requests.

Select Customer Service > Service Request > Resolve Inspected Request.
Note: You can also use Check TO-DO List and Service Request InfoViewer to resolve service requests.

Look up the service requests that you want to resolve.
The lookup initially shows a list of requests with completed inspections that are assigned to the logged-in user. You can also look up other requests by inspector or responsibility.
- Select the correct service requests in the Service Request Results grid.
- Click Resolve.

Specify this information:
- Resolved On
- Specify the date the service requests were resolved.
- Resolution Code
- Specify a resolution code for the service requests.

Provide any other information about the service requests.
If you're resolving a single service request, you can use the Action button to create various types of related records. Depending on the service request type and the licenses that your agency has purchased, you can create a work order, a case, an asset inspection, or a one-off charge. You can also record log entries.
- Click Save & Close.
