Defining a valuation setup

  1. Select [CDR module] > Setup > Valuation Setup.
    The Valuation Setup form is available for the Building Permits, Project, and Use Permits modules.
  2. Click Add above the grid.
  3. Specify this information:
    Use Group
    Specify the identification code for the intended use of the construction.
    Construction Type
    Specify the type of material used in the construction.
    Valuation Modifier
    Specify the identification code for the market price modifier. The modifier is used to adjust the construction item's cost to match the market price for a specific location. Infor Public Sector will multiply the calculated valuation by the multiplier associated with the selected modifier code.
    Multiplier
    Specify the cost per unit of the construction item.
    Use Square Footage
    Select True or False. If you select True, then the building area that you specify when you record a valuation detail will be added to the total square footage of the application.
  4. Specify effective and expire dates if you want to limit when the valuation setup is effective.
  5. Click Save.
