Creating a new work order for a use permit

When working with a use permit, you can create a work order for that permit. For example, a highway renovation permit may require a work order to clean up land that was used as a staging area during the renovation. To create a work order, you select the activity to be performed, the location where the work will take place, and any initial information, such as the scheduled start date.

  1. Load the application you want into the Application InfoViewer.
    You access an Application InfoViewer by clicking the ID link for the application on any form that shows the link.
  2. Click Action and select Create Work Order.
  3. Specify the work order information.
    Infor Public Sector creates a work order for the application and shows it on the Related Records tab under Work Orders. You can click the Work Order # link to open the work order in the Work Order InfoViewer.
