Editing a milestone constraint

Constraints in Application Workflow define the basic characteristics of the information that can be recorded for an application, such as whether certain information is required or display-only. For example, you can make primary site and applicant information required for the first milestone of an application and display-only when the application reaches an Inspections milestone. Constraints can also be defined for application types without milestones.

See Constraint items.

  1. Select Use Permits > Setup > Application Workflow.
  2. In the Application Types tree, browse to the constraints for the correct milestone.
  3. Click the Constraints node.
  4. Enable editing in the grid and select the constraint item you want to edit.
  5. Select the correct option from the Setting list.
  6. Click Save.
Infor Public Sector updates the constraint with the new setting and changes the list back to a display-only field. Infor Public Sector also applies this setting to the constraint for any subsequent milestones. For example, your agency might not allow users to change an application’s primary site after inspections have been performed on it. If you set the Primary Site constraint to display-only at the Inspections milestone, then Infor Public Sector automatically sets Primary Site to display-only for all subsequent milestones.
