License groups
Infor Public Sector uses license groups to define the license requirements for an application type. To satisfy license requirements, the contacts associated with the application must hold these required licenses. A license group can be automatically added to all applications of a particular type or be added to specific applications based on criteria that you define. Infor Public Sector creates subsets of license types based on the group number assigned to each license type. An application must have at least one license type per group number to satisfy its licensing requirements.
You use the
node in the tree to establish the relationship between an application type and its license groups. License groups typically consist of a description that names the group and a list of the types of licenses that may be required if the group is added to an application. You can also define status checks that determine whether to halt the permitting process if the required licenses have not been added to an application or if a license is currently inactive or expired.
