Inspection types

Inspection types are the kinds of inspections that your agency may require for a trade license, such as health, fire, or occupancy load inspections. Each inspection type is defined for a specific trade license type. The inspection can then be automatically added to all licenses of a particular type or be added to specific licenses based on criteria that you define.

You use the Inspections node in the License Types tree to define each inspection type that might be required for a license type. You can define when Infor Public Sector will automatically add the inspection to a trade license by associating a milestone with it. You can also write a formula that determines whether to add the inspection and define status checks that calculate whether to halt the licensing process based on the results of an inspection. You can also use the Code Violations Group node to associate inspection types with the code violations that will be available for them.
