Project overview
Infor Public Sector handles your agency's permitting processes for large-scale projects, such as subdivisions or shopping centers.
When a customer applies for a project permit, you fill out an application that records contact information for the applicant, the kind of work the project is for, and the location of the project. Infor Public Sector then assigns an application number that you and others in your agency can use to track it throughout the permitting process.
Your agency may require reviews of the plans submitted for the project and inspections of the work site. You can use Infor Public Sector to schedule and record the results of these reviews and inspections. You can place conditions on the application that must be satisfied before the permitting process can continue. You can also calculate and charge fees.
Infor Public Sector provides several tools that you can use to track project applications. You can use the Project lookups to search for applications, reviews, and inspections. After you locate the information you want, you can use InfoViewers to update existing applications, reviews, and inspections. When working with project applications, you can view an application's location on a map by clicking the button.
