Duplicating assignments

After you define review assignments and inspection assignments, you might want to save yourself some data entry by duplicating the assignment information. You can duplicate all assignment groups from one review or inspection type to another, or duplicate the assignments from one assignment group to another.

  1. Open the Review Assignment or Inspection Assignment form.
  2. In the Application Types tree, browse to the assignment group that you want to copy assignments to.
  3. Right-click the "Assignment Group" node and select Get Assignments.

    If the assignment group already has assignments, the Assignments Exist dialog box is displayed. You can add additional assignments by clicking Add, replace the existing assignments by clicking Replace, or cancel the duplication process by clicking Cancel.

  4. Browse the Application Types tree to the assignment group node you want to duplicate assignments from.
  5. Click the "Assignment Group" node and click Select.
    Infor Public Sector copies all assignments and updates the assignments in the specified node. If you chose to replace the assignments, Infor Public Sector will delete the existing assignments from your records and replace them with the duplicated assignments.
