Application types
Application types are the kinds of applications that your agency handles, such as applications for subdivisions, shopping centers, or mechanical permits. When members of your agency start a new application, they will use the application type as the basis for the application. Infor Public Sector uses the application type to determine which conditions, fees, inspections, and reviews to add to an application, the license requirements for an application, and the permitting process an application should follow.
You use the
node in Application Workflow to define your agency's application types. An application type typically consists of a unique identification code, a short description, the milestones that make up its permitting process, and the types of conditions, fees, inspections, reviews, and license groups that might be required for applications of this type. You can also define standard operating procedures that members of your agency should follow when creating applications of this type.
