Changing an application type's category

You can add, change, or remove an application type's category at any time. Application categories help you organize related application types, such as a category called Rezoning that contains application types for renaming streets or adding new subdivisions.

  1. Select Planning > Setup > Application Workflow.
  2. In the Application Types tree, browse to the correct application type.
  3. Right-click the "Application Type" node and select Change Application Type Category.
    Infor Public Sector shows a Category Name field showing the application type's current category, if any.
  4. Click the popup button to the right of the Category Name field.
  5. In the Categories tree, browse to the category that you want to add the application type to.
  6. Select the "Application Category" node and click Select.
    Note: You can select the root node to remove the application type's category.
  7. Click Save.
