Application types

Application types are the kinds of applications that your agency handles, such as applications for rezoning, street name changes, or subdivisions. When members of your agency start a new application, they will use the application type as the basis for the application. Infor Public Sector uses the application type to determine which conditions, fees, inspections, reviews, and hearings to add to an application, and the planning process an application should follow.

You use the "Application Type" node in Application Workflow to define your agency's application types. An application type typically consists of a unique identification code, a short description, the milestones that make up its planning process, and the types of conditions, fees, inspections, reviews, and hearings that might be required for applications of this type. You can also define standard operating procedures that members of your agency should follow when creating applications of this type.
