Defining a planning condition status

You define planning condition statuses using the Status popup, accessed from the Planning Condition dialog box when you define a planning condition type. After you've defined a status, you can use it with any planning condition type in your Planning Condition Library.

  1. Open the Status popup.
Click the popup button to the right of the Status field in the Planning Condition dialog box when you define a planning condition type.
  2. Click Add above the grid.
  3. Type a name for the new status in the Status field.
  4. Select the check boxes for the rules that you want applied to a planning condition when it has this status.
The rules describe the actions that you or Infor Public Sector can take on a planning condition when it has this status. For example, if you want members of your agency to be able to edit a planning condition that is at the current status, select Is Condition Text Editable. If you want a planning condition to be taken into account when Infor Public Sector advances an application or when you run a status check, select Is Condition Active. If you want to be able to defer a planning condition with the current status, then select Is Condition Milestone Deferred.
  5. Provide any other information about the status.
You can specify which statuses may follow this one by entering them in the Next Status Order grid.
  6. Click Save.
Infor Public Sector saves the status to your system and shows it in the Status popup. You can now use it for any planning condition type.
  7. When you're finished defining planning condition statuses, set up access control for each status.
