Deferring a planning condition
If you want to postpone the deadline of a planning condition, such as when an applicant is granted an extension, you can defer the planning condition. Deferred planning conditions bypass their normal activation rule and are given a deferred activation rule that establishes the new deadline. It is possible to create a series of deferred statuses that a deferred planning condition can move through that are separate from other statuses.
Before members of your agency can defer a planning condition, you must define the deferred statuses and deferred activation rules that they will use. To define a planning condition status as deferred, select the Is Condition Milestone Deferred check box when you define the status. After the deferred status is saved to a planning condition, Infor Public Sector changes the planning condition's Activation Rule field to a Deferred Activation Rule field. You use this field to access the Milestones popup and define your deferred activation rules just as you would define any other activation rule.
