Associating a review type with a violation group

Infor Public Sector makes every code violation in the violation group with which you associate a review type available to that review type. You must have already defined the review type you're associating using Application Workflow. You can also associate review types with existing violations groups during this initial review type setup.

  1. Select [CDR module] > Setup > Code Violation Setup.
  2. In the Code Violation Groups tree, browse to the Review Types node for the violation group that you want to add a review type to.
  3. Click the Review Types node.
  4. Click Add above the grid.
  5. In the Application Type field, enter the identification code for the application type that contains the review type you want to associate.
  6. In the Review Type field, enter the identification code for the review type that will have access to the violation group's code violations.
  7. Specify effective and expire dates if you want to limit when the association is effective.
  8. Click Save.
Infor Public Sector associates the review type with the violation group and shows the association in the grid. Members of your agency can now use the violation group's code violations in reviews of the specified type. Note that if you later delete a review type from a violation group, it will cause errors in any reviews that use a code violation from the group. If you delete a review type from the violation group, you must delete the appropriate code violations from those reviews. Removing the review type from the violation group does not delete the review type from your records.
