Code violations

Infor Public Sector uses code violations to define the violations your agency tracks.

Code violations are arranged in violation groups that associate inspection types and review types with each code violation. This ensures that Infor Public Sector shows only those code violations that apply to an application when an inspector or reviewer records a problem.

Violation groups are sets of code violations that can be used in inspections and reviews. Before members of your agency can record a code violation to an inspection or review, the code violation must be associated with the type of inspection or review. You use the Code Violation Groups node in the Application Types tree to establish this association by linking an inspection or review type to a violation group. This association makes all code violations within the violation group available to that inspection or review type. You must first define the code violations in a violation group using Code Violation Setup under Setup in the menu. You can also associate violation groups with inspection and review types during this initial code violation setup.
