License renewal

You can use Infor Public Sector to establish when and how your agency renews its trade licenses. The renewal process requires these setup items:

• A calculating milestone that establishes the calculations Infor Public Sector requires to determine when a license should be renewed.
• A status check that uses the Next Renewal Date check type for the calculating milestone. Infor Public Sector will automatically advance a license from the calculating milestone to the renewing milestone without this status check.
• A renewing milestone to indicate that a license has in fact been renewed.
• A next renewal date formula that calculates the renewal date. You enter this formula in the Next Renewal Date Formula field when you define a license type.

If you do not define these items, your renewal process will not function properly.
