Changing a license type's category

You can add, change, or remove a license type's category at any time. License categories help you organize related license types, such as a category called Food-Estbl that contains license types for restaurants, liquor, and fire safety.

  1. Select License > Setup > License Workflow.
  2. In the License Types tree, browse to the correct license type.
  3. Right-click the "License Type" node and select Change License Type Category.
    Infor Public Sector shows a Category Name field showing the license type's current category, if any.
  4. Click the popup button to the right of the Category Name field.
  5. In the Categories tree, browse to the category that you want to add the license type to.
  6. Select the "License Category" node and click Select.
    Note: You can select the root node to remove the license type's category.
  7. Click Save.
