Duplicating a license type

If you want to create a license type that uses the information from an existing license type, you can save yourself some data entry by duplicating the existing license type. For example, your agency might have a Template license type that includes milestones, inspections, and reviews that are common to most of its license types. You can then duplicate that license type and make the necessary changes to create new Liquor and Fire Safety license types.

  1. Select License > Setup > License Workflow.
  2. In the License Types tree, browse to the license type that you want to duplicate.
  3. Right-click the "License Type" node and select Create License Type based on [License Type Name].
  4. Type a unique name for the new license type in the License Type field.
  5. Type a description of the license type in the Description field.
  6. Define the new license type, making any required changes to the existing information.
  7. Click Save.
Infor Public Sector creates a new license type based on the existing license type and adds it to the License Types tree.
  8. Change the license type's supporting information, if required.
