Updating a code violation's status

You can update the status of a single violation or multiple violations at once. For example, say you've noted several code violations while working with a case. Upon later examination, you find that some of these violations have been resolved. You can specify a status of Resolved on individual violations or, to save time, on several violations simultaneously.

  1. Load the case you want in the Case InfoViewer.
  2. On the Code Violations tab, enable editing in the grid and select the code violation whose status you want to update.
  3. Specify a new status in the Status field.
  4. Make any other changes to the violation.
    You can specify the date and time of the status change, change the location of the violation, or add comments.
  5. Click Save.
