Case site information
Every case has a primary site, and can also have one or more associated sites and linked sites.
The primary site is the address, asset, parcel, or property that the case is created for, such as the address of a code violation. The primary site is displayed at the top of the Case InfoViewer. You can use the Action button in the lookup or the InfoViewer to change an application's primary site.
Note: Assets can only be used as sites
if the Enable Asset Sites
check box is selected in Case System Setup.
Associated sites are other addresses, parcels, properties, or assets that are linked to the case. To add associated sites, use the Sites tab of the Case InfoViewer. You can also add associated sites in the Change Site/Property dialog box.
grid on theLinked sites are addresses, parcels, properties, or building assets that are
linked to the case's primary site. For example, an address might be linked to the parcel
that it sits on. A cases's linked sites are displayed in the Sites tab of the Case InfoViewer.
grid on the Note: A case's linked sites only
include sites that are associated with the primary site at the time that the primary
site is specified. To maintain historical accuracy, any later changes are not
reflected in the linked sites. For example, suppose the primary site is an address
that has one linked parcel. If you later remove the link between the address and the
parcel in the Address InfoViewer, the case's linked sites will still include the
parcel.
