Creating an inspection

  1. Open the Create Inspection form.
    • In the menu, select [CDR Module] > Inspection > Create Inspection.
    • In Lookup Applications, select an application in the Lookup Results grid, click Action, and select Create Inspection.
    • In the Application InfoViewer, select the Inspections tab, click Add above the Inspections grid,.
  2. Specify the identification number for the application you're creating this inspection for in the A/P # field.
  3. Specify the type of inspection you are creating in the Inspection Type field.
  4. Specify any other information about the inspection.
    If you already know the results of the inspection, you can record the inspection results. Selecting the Partial Inspection check box indicates that the inspection is only partially completed. Depending on the result code that you specify when you record inspection results, Infor Public Sector will generate a reinspection to complete the partial inspection even if the result is a pass.

  5. Click Save.
    The Application Status dialog box is displayed, showing a message that the inspection has been created. It also shows the inspection number and the application's current milestone.
