Defining a reinspection result code

Reinspections are created to follow a current inspection at an unknown time, typically depending on the current inspection's results. Reinspections might be scheduled for a failed inspection, a partially-passed inspection, a canceled inspection, or an inspection with some other result. For example, you might create a reinspection if a citizen misses the initial inspection. You can associate the result code with a formula that Infor Public Sector uses to determine when the reinspection is scheduled.

  1. Select Code Enforcement > Setup > Inspection Result Code.
  2. Click Add above the grid.
  3. Type a name for the result code in the Code field.
  4. Type a brief description of the result code in the Description field.
  5. Select ReInspectionIsRequired from the Result Action list.
  6. Provide any other information about how Infor Public Sector will create and schedule a reinspection.
You can use the Schedule Date Formula field to specify a formula that calculates when a reinspection is scheduled.
  7. Click Save.
