Defining a final milestone

Every enforcement process must have a final milestone at which Infor Public Sector will no longer attempt to advance the case through its enforcement process and will not automatically add hearings, inspections, reviews, and other items. Members of your agency can still add these items manually.

  1. Select Code Enforcement > Setup > Case Workflow.
  2. In the Case Types tree, browse to the Milestones node for the correct case type.
  3. Right-click the Milestones node and select Create a Milestone.
  4. Type a name for the milestone in the Milestone field.
The name must be unique within the case type but can be reused in other case types.
  5. Select the Completed Case Milestone check box.
  6. Specify any other information about the milestone.
You can indicate the case status that Infor Public Sector will assign to a case at this milestone, such as Closed, Void, or None. You can select the type of status date that Infor Public Sector will use, such as Resolved or None. Among other properties, you can indicate that the milestone is displayed last in the Case Types tree using the Display Order field. For example, if a case type has ten milestones, you can specify 10 in this field. You can also type any standard operating procedures that your agency should follow.
  7. Click Save.
