Application license information
License requirements define the licenses that an application's contacts must possess for the application to continue in its permitting process. You can view summary information about license requirements by selecting the Required Licenses tab in the application InfoViewer. You can also add additional license requirements.
License requirements are identified by a group number and one or more license types that can satisfy that requirement. For example, you might have an Electrical license group that requires any one of these license types: Master Electrical, Journeyman Electrical, or Building Maintenance Electrical. This table shows three license requirements for an application:
Group # | License Types |
---|---|
1 | Type A Type B |
2 | Type B Type D Type E |
3 | Type C |
In this example, an application must have either a Type A or B license to satisfy the group 1 requirement. It must have a Type B, D, or E license to satisfy the group 2 requirement. Finally, it must also have a Type C license to satisfy the group 3 requirements. Therefore, an application whose associated contacts held license types A, D, and C would satisfy all license requirements. An application whose associated contacts held license types B and C would also satisfy all license requirements, because Type B satisfies the requirements of group 1 and group 2.
