Adding a license requirement to an application

Infor Public Sector typically adds license requirements to an application automatically, based on the application type, but there may be times when you want to require additional licenses. You can do this by specifying the required type of license and assigning it a group number. An application must have at least one license type per group number to satisfy its license requirements.

  1. Load the application you want in the application InfoViewer.
  2. Select the Required Licenses tab.
  3. Under Required Licenses, click Add above the grid.
  4. Specify the type of license you want to require in the License Type field.
  5. Specify the group number for the license type in the Group Number field.
    The group number determines how the license type is required. An application must have at least one license type per group number to satisfy its license requirements. If you assign a group number that is already in use, Infor Public Sector adds the license type to that group, indicating that any license type with that group number will fill the requirement. If you assign a unique group number, Infor Public Sector adds a new requirement that must be filled with the specified license type.
  6. Click Save.
