Starting an application for a model home

If a building application type is set up to use model homes, you can use a model home to start a new application. A model home is a set of shared characteristics that establishes the base design of a structure, such as the common features of a home design for a subdivision. Model homes are defined for a project application and made available to any applications that are associated with that project.

The process of starting a model home application is the same as for a standard application, with two additional steps:

  1. In the Model Project # field, specify the identification number for the project that contains the model home that you want to use.
  2. Under Select the base model for this application, select the base model for the application. Infor Public Sector shows any options for the selected base model, which you can select as required.
