Epson devices

To configure Epson devices, first install the Epson OPOS ADK. If you are using the Epson TM-H6000III or DM-D110, use ADK250E.exe in the Support\Manufacturer Service Objects\Epson directory. First you must run ADK250.exe to unzip the setup files. After unzipping the files, use OPOSADK\V250e\disk1\setup.exe to install the OPOS ADK.

Note: The OPOSADK\V250e\disk1 directory also includes documentation from Epson in a file called Installer.pdf. See this file for complete documentation on the OPOS ADK.

If you are using the Epson TM-T88V, you must download the latest OPOS ADK from Epson. The steps below focus on the OPOS ADK 2.50, but more recent versions are similar.

To access the Epson OPOS ADK after it is installed, click the Windows Start button, then select All Apps > OPOS > SetupPOS v2.0.

You may find it useful to switch to a port view, because this makes it easier to organize your devices. To change the view, click the View menu and select Port Connection View.

For any given Epson device, there is a device checking utility in the Epson ADK. The CheckHealth utility will perform the minimum check to ensure that the device is operational and in a state to communicate with the OPOS service objects.
