Defining an internal charge

  1. Select Cashiering > Setup.
  2. Expand the Charge Setups node in the Cashiering Setup tree.
  3. Under the Billing node or the CDR node, select the node for the type of charge you're setting up.
    The options that are available depend on the licenses that your agency has purchased.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Specify the date the charge setup is effective in the Effective Date field.
  6. Provide any other information about the charge.
    If the charge can handle overpayments, select the Overpayments Allowed check box. The cashier can then save extra funds from the charge as an overpayment rather than return the change to customer. You can also select Partial Payments Allowed to indicate that partial payments can be accepted, and you can type additional information about the charge setup in the Comments field.
  7. Click Save.
